Christmas in Texas - Day 5

On Sunday afternoon, after church, we had the opportunity to go to the Laurie Auditorium at Trinity University to attend the Master Singer's Christmas Pop Concert.
It was a really fun concert and Jackson LOVED listening to ALL of the song
He was even able to see Santa ...AGAIN!
Sure did have a great time with Aunt Kati.
The Laurie Auditorium is where I spent FIVE summers of my life working as an EFY Counselor.  We had to make sure to say hi to John, the guy who works the Lights at the Auditorium.  He was so happy to see us and meet our little Jackson.  Good to see you too, John!
Jackson loved wearing the antlers that belong to Uncle David.
Jackson LOVES going to shows and concerts!
I guess you could say he is his Mom and Dad's son.
We love MUSIC!

While working at EFY, we use to have some of our meetings in the Light Box there in the Laurie Auditorium.  We would strap ourselves into the chairs and say, "Buckle up for this meeting, it is going to be a BUMPY ride!"  So, of course, I had to take the opportunity to strap Jackson into the chair and take a picture of him.
This is the life that Jackson has to look forward to!
But, doesn't he just look so dang cute all strapped in and ready for a bumpy meeting!
We would also look at this sculpture outside of the Laurie Auditorium and call it, "The Slide Gone Wrong!"  We were going to have Jackson sit on the slide, but he was just still too little.  Maybe next time we are there, he can take a ride on the Slide Gone Wrong.

Got love going down Memory Lane with my son!

It was a fun concert and we were really glad we were able to see David perform.
Ya did a great job, David!
