Ward Christmas Party

Friday night we went to our Ward's Christmas Party!!! It was so good to be with our ward family. We have been so out of it lately due to kids and vacations. We really enjoyed going to this activity and talk to all of our friends again. We have such an awesome ward here in Lewisville. It is full of families that are in our same situation in life. Tons of kids in our ward. Which makes for an awesome ward party.

It was full of yummy good and great friends. The dessert table...man I wish I would have taken a picture of it. I loved it. So many awesome treats. I am not sure who brings it but they bring it every ward activity...a huge delicious cheesecake. I think we should have more activities so we can have more cheesecake!!!!

The primary children sang songs and I loved hearing them sing!! Then Santa came out and Jackson was not too sure about that guy!!

After the activity we had to clean the building. My job was to take care of the boys. Jackson was all about helping. I loved watching him try to push the tables under the stage. Then he had a blast pushing Sammy in the stroller. He is such a big boy!!!!

Goodwill

I took Jackson to goodwill the other day. He was looking like he wanted to show me something, so I let him out if the cart and went straight for the tricycle. Then he looked around a bit and started freaking out. I then watched as he ran to the wall of golf balls. He was in ball heaven. Anything Jackson sees that is round he points at it and says,"Ball!!!!!" It is so fun to see him discover the world around him.

Sammy - Our Little Chunk

Ok. This little Sammy of ours is growing way to fast. He has definitely passed where Jackson was at this age. Jackson was still in 3 month onesies when he was months. Sammy can fit into 6 month onesies now when he is 3 months. I can't even believe it.

It is so fun to watch him grow. He is pretty much always smiling. I love to look down at him and see him looking up at me with a Huge smile On his face. He gets a kick out of his brother Jackson. whenever Jackson is around Sammy just laughs and laughs and laughs. I love it!!!

He is also quite the drooler. I will look over and his whole onesie will just be soaking wet from all his slobber. Awesome.

Sammy has also become a finger sucker. That is how he soothes himself. That means I don't have to look for a pacifier. Which I am totally ok with. I looked over at him one day and saw him sucking on the two fingers I use to suck on when I was little. Following after his mom I suppose.

Sure do love having two kids to keep me happy!!!

My Boys

It has been quite busy at out small apartment. We got back from San Antonio and starting Monday I started watching two kids. A 5 yr old and a 2 yr old. It was awesome having them here. They are such good kids. And they really kept Jackson occupied. Unfortunately they decided to not have me watch them until the dad found a better job. Hopefully in the new year I will be able to watch them every once in a while. So I just watched them Monday and Tuesday.

I have also been very busy working on some Christmas projects. I of course can't post pics right now seeing how the most of them are presents for people who read this blog. You will just have to wait until after Christmas to see all I made.

The rest of the time has been filled with my two boys. They just make me smile sooo much. I just love both of them too much. I am so thankful I get to stay home with them.

They are some crazy boys. Especially Jackson. He has such a crazy personality. He loves to go down his slide in his room and cry out, "whoa!!" Soo cute to hear that. Sammy is growing way to fast. He is almost three months. He is 15 pounds and still eating. He is only 6 pounds less than Jackson. Crazy!! He is such a smiley baby. He loves to sit in between two cushions on the couch. He can sit there all day I guess he just loves looking around to see all that is going on in this home. Enjoy the pics of my crazy boys. I know I love looking at them.

Snow

The other day it snowed in Lewisville. Not as much as we got in Ashton for sure. But it was fun to see some snow. I of course went out in flip flops that day. I love the winter in Texas.

Week in San Antonio

This past week Jackson, Sammy, and I spent the week in San Antonio at my patents house. It was the longest I had ever been away from Andrew. Boy did we miss him!! But we had a great time!
We all came down together for Madi's baptism. I can't believe she is 8 already. It seems like just yesterday I was driving up to San Marcos to wait for her arrival. It was a great baptism. I am glad we were able to come down for it.

Andrew headed back to Lewisville Sunday. Afternoon. Man it was hard to see him go. That night my dad and I went on a daddy daughter date!!we went to see my brother perform in Handel's Mesiah!! It was such an awesome performance. I was do glad to be able to spend the evening with my dad!! Thanks mom for babysitting!!

The rest of the week was spent hanging out at Gramma's. we helped her with a craft she was making for Christmas. We took many trips to Hobby Lobby. We are yogurt at Orange Leaf. And Jackson spent most of the days out back in the yard. He loves benign outside. It was so nice to just him go out to play. Gotta love December in Texas!! We really need to get a home with a backyard for this little guy!! He also loved playing with my parents dog Emma. He would throw the ball for her and Jackson was amazed that Emma would rub after it and bring it back to him. The joys of life. We also spent many hours chasing Jackson around the house to make sure he didn't get into things he was t suppose to.

Friday night dad, Jackson, Sammy a I went out to look at Christmas lights in the neighborhood my mom was house sitting in. Some pretty nice houses. The one Jackson loved the best was the one with all the blow up santas out front. It was insane. But Jackson loved it.

Friday night was also the night Andrew came back down. Yay. We loved bring a family again.

Saturday night we went to Kati's deck the halls party. She did an awesome job. I was do glad we were able to fine and join the fun. It was also nice to see people I hadn't seen for a very long time. There was a white elephant exchange. I got some cute Christmas decorations and Andrew got a classic white elephant gift.. A coffee mug in the shape if a toilet. Oh yeah. Awesome!!!

We decided to head back to Lewisville that night after the party. We are never going todo that again. We thought it would be great if we traveled at night so the boys would sleep the whole time. They slept all right...but we didn't. Then when we for home at 4 am Jackson was up and ready or the day. Next time we will just sleep and then head out in the morning!!

Overall it was a great morning. I was so glad I was able to come down and spend time with my family!!!
