SOFTBALL

About a week ago we went to an activity for our church!  We got to play SOFTBALL!  It was pretty exciting.  I had to bring back my skills from the T-ball days, but it was all good!  It was really fun to just get out and play.  We also had some wonderful Buffalo burgers to eat.   Talk about yummy!!!!

Madhatter Birthday Party

Andrew's sister had a Madhatter Birthday Party.  I was super excited because as we all know, I COLLECT HATS!!!!  So of course, I packed all of my hats, (well not all, just the extremely unique ones) and we headed down to Utah!  This was also the start of our THREE week road trip. 

 Here are the hats on display for other guests to use, if needed!  I am so giving!

 The little tea light candles were very tempting!  I started to do ART with them on a paper plate and then by the end of the night, I was pouring it on my hands.  It was awesome!

We have so much to catch everyone up on, so stay tune and as soon as we can we will tell you all about our trip to TEXAS!!!  But first, we have to get the hard drive that has all the pictures on it FIXED!  Hopefully it won't take too long!

Survivor Party

 Ok...for my birthday this year--we did some pretty FUN stuff!!!  Morgan's birthday is five days after mine so we decided to throw  COMBINED party.  Morgan has always wanted to have a Survivor party and now was the perfect time!!  Here is just a brief explanation of the party...but if you want to read a deeper explanation go

 Here are all of the teams and their flags that they decorated!

Top row of pics...1st reward challenge...eating nasty stuff or getting a lighter to help you out.  Last pic the water challenge.  They had to fill a bucket of water using cups.  Middle Row --the Immunity Idols that they were able to find throughout the night.  They were worth 3 pts at the end of the night.  

Last row--- These are pictures of the challenge that they had to walk around blindfolded to find blocks that made the sentence... JUST A MAN AND HIS WILL TO SURVIVE!

Below...at the end of the game each couple got to vote on a couple that they wanted to go to the FINAL challenge.  We took video of their thoughts.  They were hilarious!  Maybe one of these days I wll get a video put together of the whole night!

And of course we had to have birthday cake!  Our husbands made them.  Andrew made one JUST for me!  Cute!  Bottom left pic--- My brother and his whole family came to join the fun!   They were on the red team.  I loved that they even had their kids come in red as well!!  Bottom right pic ---- A couple a months ago we went to a fundraiser for Girls' Camp.  Our whole table bid on a Huckleberry "Cheesecake" that was HUGE!!!  We were so excited to CUT into that wonderfulness!  But, when we did we realized it was a YELLOW CAKE with cream cheese frosting and Huckleberries on it.  Morgan looked at it and said, "There isn't even a graham cracker crust?"  It was pathetic.  I wish we had a picture of our reaction.  Well, Natalie felt bad for us that night.  So bad that she made a REAL HUCKLEBERRY CHEESECAKE for our Birthday!!  We loved it and we love her!!!!

I loved having everyone there to celebrate with us!  What is a birthday without family and friends?

July 4th Festivities

There's nothing like a fourth of July celebration in Ashton, ID. First off we are so grateful for the amazing four fathers of our country. What a blessing it is to have the freedoms we do. Also many thanks to those who fight, fought and died to give us these freedoms. Again, THANK YOU!!

Andrew's parents, two sisters and our nephew came up to join in the festivities. We started our day watching the parade down main street. Mom was quite excited to see the cute old trucks. We even had a clown (Our dentist).

Our favorite scene of the parade was Andrew and his 11 year old scouts. They volunteered to walk behind the horses in the parade and scoop the poop. They did an excellent job!!

After the parade all of Ashton went to the city park. There were games, activities, food and the best entertainment ever. Andrew's dad is a musician and calls himself the Last Of The Troubadours. He was the headline event at the park and was a huge hit. He sold several CD's and even gave out a few autographs. If you're interested in any of his stuff check him out at his website. Kate, Margie & Andrew participated in the watermelon eating contest. Andrew won, I think we'll all have watermelons growing in our stomachs after the amount of seeds we ate but it was worth the fun we had. After the park we had a family BBQ at home and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

We finished the night with fireworks. It was so fun to cuddle and watch the sky fill with wonderful colors and sounds. It was a fantastic day!

We are Back in Business - Raod Trip pics

For the past month we have not been able to put any pictures on our blog.  We finally figured out what was wrong and how to fix it!  Lucky for you we are now able to share some pics!  The next couple of days we will be updating what you have missed out on.  

First and foremost...we must share pics of our ROAD TRIP!  Mom and Dad Walker knew how much fun we have on our road trips, so of course they wanted to go on one with us!  We had been wanting to go to the Northwest so that  I could get those capitols! It was too much fun to go on this trip!  We loved every second of it!  

Now this is just a selection of our pics...we took a total of 917 pictures!  Yikes!  So here are the highlights!

We're off!

 One of our stops was Leavenworth, WA.  It is a cute german town nestled in the mountains of Washington!  The first place we went was the Nutcracker Museum.  Awesome.  There were over 5,000 nutcrackers there.  It was fun to see all of them!

 The next place we went....THE HAT SHOP!!!  I love hat shops.   I collect them!!  We had a little too much fun in here!

 Next stop Seattle...we went to Aplets and Cotlets on our way.  Once in Seattle we went to the Experimental Music Project Museum!  I also was able to have some Starbucks Chocolate Frappacino...the place where it all began!

 We also went on a Argosy Harbor Tour.  It was great being out on a boat feeling the breeze in the air and seeing the beautiful skyline on Seattle!

 We stayed a couple of nights in Long Beach, WA! One of the nights we had a fire and flew kites on the beach!  The only Kite Musuem in America is in Long Beach, WA. 

 On our way down to Newport, OR we stopped at the Tillamook Cheese Factory!  Wonderful!  Oh my goodness the ice cream there was soooooooo wonderful! The cheese was pretty good too!

 This here is a Ghost town we went to in Montana.  I had never been to a ghost town before.  It was neat to see.

 The rest are pcitures taken of the beautiful ocean!  Oh my it was breathtaking.  We loved every second of it!

 We are HOME!!!!

We had a blast.  Hopefully we lived up to our Fun Road Trip Name!
