Christmas in San Antonio - Day 18

We are with the Hillman's!
We left bright and early this morning to spend New Year's with the Hillman fam.
Jackson was sooo excited to be back with his cousins.
And they were excited to see us too.
Uncle Richie gave them the game The Great Grape Escape.
We played it a few times with the kids.
It was fun to squish the play-do grapes in all the contraptions.
Elizabeth was at a Primary activity with her new Sunbeams when we got there.
When she came home, she had this cake with her.
It was a cake the Sunbeams helped decorate.
We all picked at it, but I think the twins took the biggest dip into the cake.
The twins had a great time playing with someone YOUNGER than them!

Jackson is all about playing with balls.
I suppose we will have to get him some.
Elizabeth made hats for ALL of her kids too.
So we took some pics with them all in their hats.

Look at all those AMAZING hats.
Elizabeth has some SERIOUS talent!
In the afternoon we went to a PARK!
Yep, you heard me right, we went to a PARK!
December 31st, we were playing outside at a park.
It was such a fun park too.
The kids had a great time and we were able to get out of the house for a bit.

Logan helping out with feeding Jackson.
So, I was sitting there watching Logan tap his foot on top of Nolan (his twin)
Shortly after Logan was doing this, he turned to everyone and said...
"Nolan AWAKe!"
I wonder why Nolan woke up!
Uh oh...someone found the tub of fudge.
And boy did they love it.
We played a few round of Tellestrations with everyone.
Samantha wrote this....
So I drew this....
And Zach wrote this....
gotta love the game Telestrations.
Zach just couldn't make it to midnight.
He was so close.
I think this was at about 11:30.
Maybe next year.
At midnight we made sure to have our Sparkling Cider.
Jackson woke up to have his midnight snack to bring in the New Year.
The kids had their Sparkling Cider....but looking at this picture it almost seems there was something more in the drink.
They were just soooo excited to be able to stay up soooo late!

It was a great day at the Hillman household.
We sure did have a great time bringing in the New Year.
It was a great 2011 and we are looking forward to a wonderful 2012!

Christmas in San Antonio - Day 17 cont.

Jackson sure does love getting into things and making messes.
It is his favorite thing to do these days.
That night we went to a hockey game and the Ice Dancers were standing there ready to take pictures with anyone who wanted to take a picture with them.
Jackson is hooking up with the LADIES!
They thought he was the cutest thing EVER!
We had some fun taking some pictures of him all around the stadium!

Our seats were RIGHT next to Dja-Dja!
He was doing Play by Play on the radio.
We passed Jackson off to him and he went right to his co-workers to show the cute guy off.  He was one proud Dja-Dja!
I am sure if he could, he would've had Jackson sit with him the whole game!
Jackson LOVED watching the hockey game.
He just loves seeing NEW things!

Father and son watching a hockey game!
Love it!
This was our view of Daddy-o during the game.
During one of the breaks we went and took a walk around.
We liked this sign...
TEXAS FAVORITES!
And this sign...
Look at the little Spurs!!!
Love it.
We saw T-Bone and rushed to get a picture with him.
He saw Jackson was drinking his bottle and tried to feed him himself.
We reminded him that he was a Bull and didn't have the means of feeding our little Jackson!
And of course...Jackson took a little nap during the game.
I think this kid could sleep ANYWHERE!
Another shot with his Dja-Dja!
Thanks for the tickets Daddy-o!
We had a GREAT time.
We bought this hoodie just for tonight.
It is for 12 months, but he fit in it, JUST FINE!
What a fun night!
Jackson's first, but most likely NOT his last...
Hockey Game.

Now off to the Hillman's house for New Year's!

Christmas in San Antonio - Day 17

I was given this hat and tie from one of my friends at one of my Baby Showers.
She gave it to me with a request.
She said she saw a picture of this little boy in  Baby store.
He was wearing jeans, the tie (without a shirt) and the hat.
She said I HAD to take the picture with Jackson...
SOOOO...On December 29th when it was about 80 degrees outside...
WE went outside and took some pictures of Jackson!!!!
Of course they came out ADORABLE!

Christmas in San Antonio - Day 14 -16

Tuesday morning was the morning everyone was going to start leaving.
We HAD to put the New Kids poster together before Kati left.
We went ahead and listened to New Kids while we put it together.
Basically, it was a pretty magical moment in ALL of our lives.
It surely was a HUGE puzzle.
Right after this puzzle was done, we played a game of Mexican Train with the whole family.
I love playing that game with my family.
After the game,
Dad left for work.
Kati went home.
David went home.
Harvey left soon after.
Just another picture of Jackson being cute.
We have so many of them!!!!
This is right before Harvey left.
Jackson and him made sure to have a fun moment together.
Jackson chewing on another chair.
Teething can make you do weird things sometimes.
When I went to go check on him one night, this is how I found him.
I just love the positions he ends up sleeping in.
Wednesday we went to the Temple to go to the Distribution Center.
But, it was soooo nice to see the Temple.

We also stopped by David's new apartment to see how he has been living it up.
It was great to see him in his own place.
That night, Andrew, Richie, and I went to the Riverwalk to ride Daddy's River Boat Tour.
I am not saying I have favorites or anything, BUT my Dad's tour is the BEST on the river...
BY FAR!!!
Thanks for letting us come and ride your boat Daddy-o!
It was a great evening.

Mom stayed home with Jackson.
She said they had such a GREAT time together.
He even was able to BREAK through my pillow berrier that I had put up for him.
Looks like we are going to have to do MORE baby proofing.
Some shots of the Riverwalk Lights.
I just love it at Christmas time.
Richie showing Daddy-o some love.
My mom had a train under the Christmas Tree.
Jackson LOVED to play with it and DERAIL it along the way.
Thursday Mom and Richie headed to Houston to visit the Hillman's
Dad went to work, so that put Andrew, Jackson and I on or own.
We did a TOUR of Judson High School.
MY ALMA MATER....that doesn't look like anything I remember.
They knocked down the Red Campus and built a WHOLE new building.
They also have built onto the stadium.
But, I had to show it off to Jackson.
Which looks real excited to be there!!
Then we had to go show him the BRICK that has my NAME on it!
Oh Judson High School.
So many memories.
Not enough time to even start to share them!
After our tour of Judson, we headed to Target for one last look at discount Christmas.
We decided to let Jackson SIT in the cart.
He LOVED this NEW experience.
That night we met up with my GALZ from Judson High.
 A trip down memory lane!
We ate at Rudy's!  The best BBQ ever!
Oh my heavens, it was so much fun to see Jarah, Laurin, and Rebecca.
We were able to meet Rebecca's new hubby and they were all able to meet baby Jackson.
David came and hung out too.  It was great to have him there to add to the memories.
Gotta love Judson memories.

After Rudy's we met up with Fabby and her husband WHO we had all NEVER met.
We had started to wonder if he was even real.
Well, he is real.
It was soo good to add Fabby to the mix.
We sure did miss all the Senior Galz who were not able to make it.
We met at Starbucks and then decided we needed to go to JIM'S on O'Conner instead.
This is where we would always go after our concerts.
Many many memories are from this restaurant!!!!
One last picture before we head off in our own directions.
I really hope it isn't another two years before we see eachother again.
Sure do wish we lived CLOSER to everyone so we could see each other MORE!
But, it was sooo good to catch up after so many years.
Sure do love you GALZ.
Judson Senior Galz Por Vida!
