Annie Get Your Gun
March 3rd we went and saw Andrew's sister
and his dad in Annie Get Your Gun. K was Annie. She did an AWESOME
job. Dad was Charlie and did an EXCELLENT job.

This is how Jackson and ML watched the show.
The STAR of the show!!!
We tried to talk to Dad after the show...but he had WAY too many fans to get to. He was TOO busy for his family!
I am so glad we were able to come see them perform.
They both did a great job.
K was the perfect person to play Annie!
Next stop Hale theater for K!
Dr. Seuss and Texas Independence Day
March 2nd has got to be one of my FAVORITE days out of the WHOLE year.
It is Dr. Seuss's Birthday AND Texas Independence Day.
Can there be a better day?
It was so fun to have a little one to celebrate it with!
We were down at Andrew's parents house for the weekend to see Kate and Dad Walker in Annie Get Your Gun. Mom Walker made some amazing green eggs and ham for breakfast.
Jackson could not get enough of them.
Talk about yummy!
YAY for Dr Seuss's Birthday.
(Don't you love his onesie?)
He got it from his Nana.
So glad it fits for a day just like THIS!
I made sure to bring down my AWESOME Dr. Seuss quilt that Morgan made for me. I brought down two of my Dr. Seuss books...Green Eggs and Ham and Oh Say Can you Say.
We read them to Jackson and let him play with them.
He sure does love Dr. Seuss.
That NIGHT we celebrated Texas Independence Day with a GREAT dinner of FAJITAS!!!!
YUMMY!
We of course made a TEXAS SHAPED cake.
Jackson was all about eating this cake!
It was really good.
And we let Jackson have just a little bit of whipped cream.
What a great day we had today.
Thanks Mom Walker for making all the amazing meals and for making this such an awesome day.
Auction at Uminski's Ward
(March 30th)
Tonight we went down to Rigby to spend the
evening with the Uminskis.
They had a Scout Fundraiser at their ward.
It was a pasta dinner with an auction after.
Andrew and I are all about auctions.
They are so fun!
This one was no different.
We actually walked away with quite a bunch
of stuff.
We got two wipe containers, one big and one
small, with BYU fabric on it. Way cute.
We got those for FIVE dollars. A STEAL!
We also got this cool handmade art piece.
It has a dancing Mayan Indian on it, made
out of copper, silver, and indigo!
I suppose I should just take a picture of
it.
We also got these AWESOME cupcakes.
The person who made these were quite
busy.
She ALSO made cupcakes made to look like
aliens, corn on the cob, spaghetti and meatballs, and a insect garden.
They all looked AMAZING.
We were lucky enough to get the SHARKS!
The sharks are made out of twinkies, and
fruit roll ups are the mouths.
Under the "mound" of fish is a
marshmallow and the life savers are made out of powder doughnuts.
After we bought them, we got a ton of kids
coming over to us asking us for one. They all came with a dollar in their
hand wanting to BUY one for us. Andrew just told them to donate that
dollar to the scouts and take a doughnut for FREE! There is NO way we
were going to eat ALL of those cupcakes.
We did give Jackson a
powder doughnut...and oh my goodness...HE LOVED IT!
"OK Mom, I am ready for MORE!"
After the dinner we went over to the Uminski's to play some
games.
We always have a great time playing games with them.
It has been so nice to have family near by.
We will be sad when we have to move and not be able to see
them as much.
Thanks for a great evening. We had a great time!
Happy Easter
We dressed Jackson up REAL nice for Easter Sunday.
He likes to follow after his Uncle Richie's fashion.
The tie on the outside of the vest.
Sure do love this kid.
Walkers up for Graduation and Easter
Andrew's parents and sister came up for his graduation and Easter weekend.
To read all about his graduation you can go HERE.
Friday was graduation and Saturday was HUNGER GAMES.
We all waited until this weekend to go see it.
It was well worth the wait.
We all really enjoyed the movie.
After the movie Jackson got to hang out with Kermit.
They are just going for a ride.
They are best friends!
Jackson really knows how to make friends.
We also decided to go BOWLING for an hour.
Jackson had a great time sitting on the table and EATING popcorn.
We all had a great time bowling.
Somehow Dad Walker got THIS split.
How is that EVEN possible???
Jackson got to bowl with Daddy!!!!!!
When we got home we hung out and played some games.
Dad Walker also played the guitar for a little bit.
Jackson really tried to play the guitar WITH PopPop!
EASTER SUNDAY....
Nana and PopPop gave Jackson a present.
He tried to open it.
I had to help.
It was a book!
HE LOVES books!
He then opened it up and started to READ it.
Our boy is sooo smart.
After church we had an amazing Easter dinner that Mom Walker made for us.
Pork roast, veggies, asparagus, cole slaw and rolls.
We also had an AMAZING carrot cake with cream cheese frosting on top.
OH MY HEAVENS...best cake EVER!
Thanks Mom for making us an AMAZING dinner.
It was such a great weekend and we were so happy the snow that came in on Friday WENT away by Sunday. The weather was again BEAUTIFUL!
So glad the Walkers could come up and spend this weekend with us.
What in the World?
One night I was holding Jackson and I looked down and noticed his leg looked a little weird. What in the world is in his PJs???
When I undid his PJs...this is what I found.
Somehow one of his toys got put inside of his PJs!
Awesome!
Hilarious!
I love this kid!
The things he does.
I am so excited to see what the rest of his life brings.
March Madness
March Madness has come with full force!
I always set up a family/friends group to fill out their brackets.
This year we had quite a good showing.
I thought Jackson was going to take it again, but unfortunately, he dropped down after the Elite 8.
It was really fun this year, because Andrew and I were able to watch some of the games.
And talk about MADNESS---there were TWO 15-2 upsets. WHAT?
Crazy!
What was REALLY fun about March Madness was that Jackson LOVED watching the basketball games as well. We would have the TV on some other show and he would pay not a bit of attention. The second we turned it to basketball, he stopped what he was doing and TUNED IN!
GOOD JOB JACKSON!
I am so proud of you son!
The winner of our group....
RICHIE
Way to go Rich-man!
I am so proud of you.
AND I am so happy that so many of my family and friends filled out their brackets. It was fun to see how everything turned out!
Can't wait till next year!
