Our trip to Texas!

Our first stop along the way, was of course Utah!

We spent the weekend there with Andrew's family.

Knowing it was the last time we would see them for quite sometime.

We got there LATE Friday night.

We parked the U-Haul at the church building because there wasn't enough room at the Townhomes.

The next morning we went over to the church and unpacked our car. 

It was on the trailer behind the Uhaul and we basically just threw stuff in it.

We wanted to organize it a bit better.

So, we took everything out and put it on the grass and then put it all back in.

 Jackson wasn't quite sure about all this moving business!

 ML has a great time playing, while we packed!

J thought the U-haul would make a GREAT backpack! 

HaHa! 

 After our car was all packed up, we went back to the Townhomes to see if there would be room for the Uhaul. Unfortunately there was NOT! 

Then a slight accident happened, where the trailer hit the back end of Mom's car and it was crazy!

Luckily, Insurance took care of everything and now Mom's car looks like new!

Later that afternoon we went to the park to let the kids run around. 

They decided they needed to climb all over PopPop!

We stayed in Utah one more day and then headed out for the VERY long day of traveling on Monday! 

 We woke up at 4:30..got everything in the truck and headed out.

Next stop Lubbock, TX!

 Jackson had nooo clue what was about to happen!

"Let's go Mom and Dad! Off to Texas!" 

He sure was a GREAT navigator! 

But, really most of the time, he slept!

Monday was an extremely LONG day of traveling.

We went all the way from Utah to Texas.

We made sure to let Jackson out at every gas stop.

He would walk around the inside of the gas station and pull off anything he could get his hands on off the shelves.  He was such a GREAT kid!  He did such a good job with this really long day!

I thought it was funny though how everyone always asked, "How did Jackson do?"  No one seemed to care that I was 7 months pregnant taking a forever long ROAD TRIP!

It is ok!  I care more about Jackson than myself too!!!! 

 We got to Lubbock LATE Monday night!

We got some great sleep that night!

Tuesday was all about just RELAXING!

We got to meet sweet Olivia!

Shanna's little baby girl.

She is so precious!

So, glad everything went so well with that pregnancy and birth!

Shanna you are going to be a GREAT mom!

 Jackson had a great time PLAYING and not being couped up in a UHaul truck!

He also LOVED seeing a new baby!

Can't wait for him to meet his brother! 

Julie was in town with all of her kids, so they came over!

Melissa came over too!

It was great to see those Darden girls.

Sure do love them! 

Here I am with sweet Olivia!

Can't wait to hold my little baby boy!

It is always so much fun to visit Lubbock.

We are excited that we live closer, so hopefully we can visit a little bit more.

Next stop PLANO, TEXAS!
