Halloween

Our October was quite full of Halloween Events.
The first thing we went to was a Halloween Carnival down in Rexburg at Burton Elementary.
The Erickson's invited the Morgan and I to come down with our kids.
Andrew was at a campout so he couldn't come.
As you can see Jackson was Superman!
While there we ate a spaghetti dinner.
At one point Jackson ended up like this on the table.
We all thought it looked like he was getting ready to fly or something!
All the kids took a group picture together.
Leah did such a GREAT job holding Jackson.
She is such a GREAT helper!

All in all it was a great night of fun and games.
Of course Jackson couldn't participate in any of the games, but it was fun to be with friends. We even saw the Allen family.  Some really good friends of ours that moved down to Idaho Falls and we haven't seen them in a while.
Our next event was a party that our friends the Wilson's threw.
It also was fun!
We ate yummy chili and had some great conversation with friends.
We were the SUPER family.
Clark Kent in transition and Kara (Super Girl) in transition.
Our next event was a party thrown by the Wilson Family.
We went as a WHOLE SUPER FAMILY!
Clark Kent &  Kara Zor-El (Super Girl) in transition...

It was a great time.  Yummy Chili and great conversation with friends.
The NEXT night we went to the BOO-tikofer's Halloween Bash.
WHAT A GREAT EVENING!
It was sooo much fun!
We left Jackson with Ariana and Spencer and went and PARTIED it UP!
Can we please take in the wonderfulness of this picture.
The Schauerhamers came as Snowbirds....and Zak came as Indiana Jones.
But my goodness...I just love how everyone is getting down!!!

Indiana Jones for all ages of women...RIGHT???
We definitely got our groove on!
t has been such a long time that we have danced the night away!
It was a blast!
We just had a blast dancing!
It has been so long since we have just let everything loose and danced the night away.
Then they brought out the glow sticks...and it was all over!
WE WENT CRAZY!
They  blared 1,000 Miles by the Proclaimers and there was NO holding ANY of us back!
We were so excited The Erickson's came and partied with us!
THANK YOU Butikofer's for letting us come and boogey on down all night!
We had such a great time.
The best time we have had in a LONG time!
DANCING is a BLAST!
Monday night was HALLOWEEN and we took Jackson Trick-or-Treating.
He has such a great time!

First we went to TRUNK or TREATING!
Ashton's Mayor hooking Jackson up with some yummies!
Everyone in the town loved seeing Jackson all dressed up in his costume.
The Dentist hooked up Jackson up with his first toothbrush.
We then went to some of our friend's houses.
We made sure to visit Karla Howell.
She was so delighted we thought of her and brought Jackson by.
He sure was excited about the bag of goodies she gave him!

When all was said and done...SUPERMAN was burnt out!
Don't you love the skeleton sucker laid on his chest?
He slept pretty good that night.

When we got home I had Chicken Taco Soup cooking in the Crockpot.
It was all ready when we all done with Trick-or-Treating.
PERFECT! I am going to do that EVERY Halloween.
It was so nice to come home after a chilly night and have some warm soup all ready for us!

Well, here's to a great Halloween season!
