A year and a half later we are returning to Texas!
It was our first time flying together. We had a blast!
Margie likes the window seat so she can take pictures from the plane.
Here are a few!
Most likely one of our most favorite things to do while we were in Texas, was holding these guys! Our 5 month old twin nephews. We know, they don't look ANYTHING alike.

The first restaurant we ate at was Rudy's BBQ!

We went and met up with Margie's friends from High School.
The Senior Galz have come together again.
We sure did miss those who could not come.
For those of you out there that did not believe us when we said the High School Football stadiums in Texas are a BIG DEAL! This is the new stadium at Margie's High School!
To think this is considered a "small" one!
Gotta love Texas High School Football.

Decorating cookies is what our family loves to do!
It was fun to see all of the nieces and nephews get into the fun.

Andrew had a good time decorating this one. He fits in well with the family!

We went downtown to the Riverwalk and saw all of the lights and the wonderful Christmas tree.
It really is one of Margie's favorite things about a San Antonio Christmas -- the beautiful riverwalk with the Christmas lights and Christmas music ringing through the air.
It was also fun to return to the place of our Honeymoon.
The Riverwalk will always have a place in our hearts!
You can't go to San Antonio without taking a stop at the ALAMO!
Margie has always LOVED seeing that tree each Christmas!
After taking a pit stop at the Alamo, we headed down Houston Street to the Majestic Theater.
This is where we saw the Broadway Musical of THE LION KING!
Margie almost cried when the giraffes came out in the beginning.
It was a great show and we are both very happy we were able to see it!
The costumes are seriously -- something else!!!

We made homemade pizzas on Christmas Eve.
A small tragedy happened.
One of the pizzas fell right onto the oven burners and almost started a fire.
There was a ton of smoke and a lot of commotion and laughing!
What a great memory.
Of course it had to happen to Harvey's pizza.

We were a nice family and shared our pizzas with him!
We got new pajamas for Christmas morning.

We had to wait for the nieces and nephews to arrive before we opened any presents.

Margie was wondering what was taking our nephew so long to get out of the car, and when she went over to check on him, she found him like THIS! Hilarious!

We went and ate at the Gunther House for Breakfast.
It is the old home of the founder of the Pioneer Flour Mill.
It is some yummy pancakes and biscuits with gravy!
We seriously could not get enough of these cute twins!

We looked at it for many many many many minutes.

This is the end of WEEK ONE! We have one more week here in San Antonio!
We loved every second of it.

Oh you guys made me miss Texas and HEB! And brought up funny memories of seeing you on your honeymoon...what a random sighting!
I saw Lion King in New York and it was ah-mazing. Those costumes are unbelievable!

Margie!!! Andrew!!!! What great pics of my kids! I must say those were my favs. (Why does it seem there are more pics of MJ????) I can't wait to see week 2! I miss you already!
