We are heading home...

Sadly we began our journey home.
We stopped in Syracuse New York so Margie could say Hi to her friend Jen Jocz.
We also stopped by Niagara Falls. It may just be me but it wasn't has impressive as I had hoped.
We stayed the night in Dayton with the wonderful Krause family. She is the most amazing cook. She made us the best stuffed peppers ever!!
We drove through Indiana and Margie took us to her old stomping grounds. She was in Kindergarten at the time and only lived there a couple years.
To make Andrew's dad jealous we stopped and had lunch at White Castle. the greatest little hamburgers ever.
Welcome to Illinois
The home of one of our most beloved presidents, Abraham Lincoln.
#30 Springfield, IL
Welcome to Missouri
That's right. That is the worlds largest ketchup bottle.
St. Louis, MO. We spent the night there with Margie's good friend Erin Jo and her husband Dallin.
The Crown Candy. One of the best diners in St. Louis. Andrew had the worlds biggest BLT here.
A view from Dallin & Erin Jo's apartment. This is a cool park in downtown St. Louis. It had all kinds of fun and modern interactive art.

#31 Jefferson City, MOWe had Ice Cream in Missouri. The state where the ice cream cone was invented.

Welcome to Kansas
#32 Topeka, KS
We had to visit this awesome historic site. Do you know how important Brown v. Board of Education was? If not you should look it up.
Welcome to Colorado
We had lunch with lots of great family members: Aunt Mickey and Donna, Andy, Mandy and little Amelia. We went to Amici's. A must go to place while in Denver.
Margie got to see another friend, Carin from Lubbock who now lives in Denver.
Margie feeding Donna's dog ice cream. (If you couldn't tell we ate a lot of ice cream on this trip. It's just sooooooo good.)
While in Denver we were able to stop at the Institute building and catch up with Bishop Simmons. What a great man. So glad he is part of our life.
In the Rocky mountains we stopped and grabbed some Cherry Cider. MMMMMmmmmm!
Welcome to Idaho....Wait!! Sad, that means we're home and our trip is over....Well there's always next year and we can assure you we'll have many adventures before then so come back often to see what we're up to.
