Meet the Henry's
I. LOVE. THIS. FAMILY!
On April 21st they were sealed in the Rexburg Temple.
It was a beautiful day and I am so happy we were able to be a part of it.
It was also a very FULL day.
They both received their Endownments, then were sealed to each other and THEN the best part of the WHOLE entire day...they brought in their two precious little children to be sealed to them. I would say that next to my own wedding day, this has got to be the second best day in the Temple. When those two little ones came in, dressed in white, the spirit was SOOO strong in the room. There was not a DRY eye in the entire place.
I just knew and had a deeper testimony that THIS is what it is all about!
BUILDING ETERNAL FAMILIES!
I thought about our Jackson and all the other kids we will be having and how they are already sealed to us. I thought about how I am sealed to my parents. I thought about how thankful I am for MY eternal family. How thankful I am for the Temple. For the Gospel. For Jesus Christ and for my Heavenly Father. How thankful I am to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am thankful that we have a Prophet who leads and guides this church, under the direction of Christ Himself. Gosh! This church is TRUE! It teaches correct principles and I am so glad that my parents got baptized and brought up us kids in it.
I am thankful for my testimony.
AND I love MY family!!!!

Ashton Stake Valentine's Dinner
(Catch up from Feb. 2012)
We were in charge again this year of decorating for the Stake Valentine's Dance.
We pretty much stuck to the same thing that we did last year, but added a few changes.
And of course the Schauerhamers helped out with the WHOLE thing.
We added this RUNNER down the tables.
We took a roll of pink vinyl tablecloth and cut it into thirds.
Andrew S. actually used a chop saw to cut into thirds and then a grinder to smooth out the edges.
Such resourcefulness!
Instead of STARS this year, Morgan and I made these cool tissue paper pom poms.
They made for a fun atmosphere.
The buffet table got an uplift too.
We decided to put the pink table cloths on it and a round table in the middle to make it a bit more exciting.
Behind the table we projected an image off of an overhead,
to help really get in the mood of being in Paris
We did uplighting with our lights again.
Overall it turned out pretty darn good and everyone had a great time!
They are a little worried about what they are going to do NEXT year when we are not here anymore. We told them they will be fine, but if they really wanted to pay for our plane tickets, we would come in and help out!!!! HaHaHa~

Cabela's and The Importance of Being Ernest
(Update from April 18th)
Wednesday we headed over to Cabelas and had a great time looking at all the animals and fish there.
Wednesday we headed over to Cabelas and had a great time looking at all the animals and fish there.
Jackson also seemed to enjoy testing out all the outdoor equipment.
This is his new favorite way of riding in his stroller.
He was just chillin!
That night we headed up to Centerville to see Richie perform in The Importance of Being Ernest. And, of course he did an amazing job.
I just really enjoy watching him to what he loves.
On Thursday we went up to Logan to reconnect with one of Andrew's friends from High School,
Kylee Sealy and his family. It was great to meet them.
They are such a fun family.
Andrew had a great time reminiscing the old days.
Then it was home we go.
Another great trip to Utah!

A Trip to Temple Square & City Creek
Update from April 13-16)
Friday, April 13th we headed down to Utah.
We were going down to see Richie in The Importance of Being Ernest.
We were going to go that night, but found out on our way down there we needed to go on the following Wednesday. So, a nice vacation in Utah was about to begin.
On Monday, we headed down to Temple Square with Andrew's mom.
We took the TRAX down.
It is always nice and fun to take the train down.
We started out at The Gateway Mall to go to the MAC store and then we headed down to City Creek.
I don't have any pics of that place, but it was absolutely beautiful.
It is a new high end shopping mall across the street from Temple Square.
It is seriously a sight to see.
Then we headed across the street to Temple Square.
I REALLY WANTED TO SEE ALL OF THE TULIPS!
I LOVE TULIPS!
Jackson loved all of the sight seeing.
We let Jackson out of the stroller to play in the grass.
He loved all the tulips too!
This is Andrew being rebellious in the Assembly Hall in Temple Square.
Going behind the rope!
On our way home we saw the car next to us that had a parakeet loose in the car. They were feeding it an apple. It was just a bit different.
That night we went to the Sandy Library to see Andrew's dad perform.
He puts together a Songwriter's Series every month.
He invites local artists to perform and he always performs as well.
It is always fun to see him perform.
Jackson was all about the guitar.
I think someday he will play it!!!
