That is one big foot.  No wonder it makes such an impact when it kicks me!!!

We love our Jackson!

Baby Shower in Utah

The other part of our time in Easter was spent at a Baby Shower Mom Walker threw for me.  It was AWESOME!  One of the coolest parts about it all was my MOM was able to come.  She was here for Richie's graduation, so we made sure to have the Baby Shower at the same time.  I loved having her there!!  YEA!!
We ate some amazing food.  These to die for doughnuts, fruit salad, quiche, and swiss porridge.  YUMMY!
We also did some AWESOME games.
They all filled out a Baby Poll guessing when Jackson would be born, in what state, how big, how long labor would be and and what date he would be born.  Then everyone got a picture of me, a picture of Andrew and a blurred out baby face.  Everyone had to take pieces of each picture to predict what Jackson would look like.  You can see those below.  They came out AMAZINGLY!!
Finally we played the candy bar game.  We had a huge pile of candy bars and Mom Walker would say a phrase like, Baby girl's name and we would have to find the candy bar that matched....BABY RUTH!

 These pictures are AWESOME!
Then it was time to open some gifts.
Man, Jackson is just so loved and he isn't even born yet!
We got some really good stuff.
I just can't wait to see Jackson in these little outfits.

It was so great to see everyone.
I feel so loved that everyone came to the shower.
Thank you so much Mom Walker for putting it all together.
You did such a great job and everyone had a blaast!

Here is Kate and I!  She is three weeks ahead of me. She is having a little girl.  We are so excited to be having kids at the same time.  They can grow up together as best friend cousins.!  Can't wait!
All of the men when bowling during the shower.  They also had a great time!

What a fun day!

I loved it!!!

Richie's College Graduation

Our Easter weekend started out going to Richie's graduation from BYU in Theater Education. Thursday was Commencement.  We were sitting up pretty high and were trying to find the Rich-man.  I spotted him when he entered the Marriott Center and when I found out where he was sitting, I went down the stairs and got right behind him.  Right when I got down there he started looking around for us...when he turned around to look in my direction, he had no IDEA I was going to be RIGHT in his face.  It pretty much startled him.  Hilarious!  I snapped some up close photos of him and then headed back up to the nose bleed section.
Commencement was really wonderful.  Elder Scott spoke to the graduates.  Of course it was an awesome talk.  He made sure to tell the graduates and those of us listening how to make sure we wake up with a smile on our face every morning.....go to sleep with a hanger in your mouth!!!
After Commencement we headed up to Salt Lake and ate at Tucci's in Trolley Square.  Then we all went over to the hotel where Mom, Dad, and Harvey were staying and hung out there for a bit.
It is always fun to be with family.
The niece and nephews had a great time in the Hotel.
Friday morning we went to see Richie do the WALK!!!!!  It was a great ceremony.  It is fun to see the BABY of the family graduate.  All seven of us kids have now gotten a college diploma.
Way to go U-crew!

Cupcake Wars

For Young Men's and Young Women's on Tuesday night we did
CUPCAKE WARS!
We were divided into groups and given some cupcakes.
We had to decorate them as an Easter theme.
It was a pretty fun activity.
The youth had a great time.

The garage...all organized!

This is our garage.  This is how we have organized it.  We just stack all of the storage bins on top of each other.  However, this really does not work so well...
You see after a while, our garage looks like THIS!
It just takes too much energy to put the bins back where we got them from.
So, we decided to build some SHELVES!
Check 'em out!
This is what it looked like without the shelves...
Our make-shift cutting table.  We get this done!
My husband is quite amazing!
Here is the finished project.  Now to get things organized!
Ta-Dah!  Pretty nice.
Now when we want one bin, all we have to do is get ONE down.  Perfect.
Andrew also built himself a work bench on the other side of the garage.
I really am proud of his hard work.
It is nice to see our garage so organized!
Way to go Andrew.
Everything looks AWESOME!

Ashton's Distinguished Young Woman (Junior Miss 2012)

Morgan was asked a couple weeks before the night of the competition to do the stage decorations.  Being the wonderful friend that I am, I volunteered myself to help her if she needed it.  She needed it!  I am so happy that I was able to help her, because it just turned out AMAZING!  Morgan has some awesome vision and Andrew and I were there to help her execute it all!
Above you can see the backdrop for the stage.  Of course it was so much COOLER in PERSON!
DO YOU FEEL AFRICAN SAFARI!  I know I did!
When the curtain opened for the first time, we even had the elephant moving back and forth.   You can see that in the video down below.
Morgan used vinyl talecloths for the backdrop and then we traced the tree and animals on big pieces of cardboard using an overhead projector.  We cut them out and pieced them together, taped and spray painted them black.  Morgan cut out the grass as well.  Andrew and I missed out on the hanging of the big pieces, because we had to go to a meeting for the guy Andrew was campaigning for at BYU-I!  I am still soooo amazed that Andrew S and Morgan were able to hang them by themselves.  They amaze me!
We put our clamp lights we used for a wedding behind the backdrop and it shined through the tablecloths.  BREATH TAKING!
Off on one of the wings of the stage we set up an African Safari tent scene.
Morgan did a great job knowing what to put over there. I just kept thinking Tarzan.  What would Jane bring to an African Safari???

This is the other side of the stage.  Morgan painted all the boxes.  The podium is covered by the big gray box.  That is where the MC spoke from.  It looked great!
This was their photo wall. Morgan and I worked very hard on putting this up.  The sad day came the next day when it was all on the floor.  Morgan quickly put it back up before everyone came.  Oh goodness.  Morgan did a great job with putting this all together.  I was just glad I got to help.  Even though there were times that I was SUPER tired and my whole body ACHED.  I guess being pregnant doesn't allow me to do as much as I would want to do at one time.  But it all got done and everyone loved it!

It was a great evening. Since Morgan and I had been up there the whole week putting up the decorations, we were able to watch their rehearsals as well.  It was so neat to see how much the girls improved throughout the week.  Saturday night everyone did such an AMAZING job.  It was fun to watch them on stage doing their best!

Here is Ashton's Distinguished Young Woman.  She did such an awesome job all night.  And that dress!!!!!  I just love it so much!  It just screams confidence.  Good Luck at State Sarah!

For our Jackson!

We have finally found the FIRST thing we wanted to buy for Jackson.
We found this last night at Ross and just had to buy it.
Andrew picked it up and said, "I can't wait to see my little son in this outfit!"
And wait we will have to do!  It is for 18 months.
So, next December (2012), Jackson will be sportin' this get-up!

He will be SOO handsome!
Such a STUD!
