Walker Family Reunion - Day 6

(Update from May 18)
Today was all about Cabela's and Bowling.
First we all went to Cabela's to hang out.
We spent quite a bit of time at the Shooting Gallery.

Jackson and ML spent some quality time on this cute little couch!
ML let Jackson really have it....
And then the tears came...
I love this picture..
Jackson crying and ML looking like she didn't do anything!

She's at it again!
Don't worry...Jackson has had his many moments of beating up on her.
I am sure this will not be the end of it either!
Look at that form...and the prego belly!
After the shooting gallery we went to the Fidge Shop and had our FAIR SHARE of FREE SAMPLES.  Definitely Rolo Fudge was THE BEST!

Lunch was at Cafe Rio!
Gotta love that place...
THEN when Dad got home, we all went BOWLING!

It was a great day.
Bowling was fun...even with ONE YEAR OLDS running around.
Thanks for the great day!

Walker Family Reunion Day 1-5

(Update from May 13-17)
Sunday, May 13th started a three week family reunion with Andrew's family.
Mike and Cathy were coming into town for two weeks and Grammy Faye came in for two weeks...one of those weeks overlapped!  Mike was leaving for Afghanistan at the end of the month, so we were very fortunate to be able to come and be with everyone for so long.

Andrew and I went to the airport to get Mike and Cathy....AND Mom, Dad, and the G Crew (they just got back from Disneyland!)

This was Mike and Cathy's FIRST time meeting Jackson!
He fell in love with them RIGHT away!

After we got everyone from the airport we all headed back to the house for some yummy hamburgers.  It was a VERY full house!
We had something planned for everyday of the week.
Jackson just LOVED hanging out with Uncle Mike and Aunt Cathy.
He would just follow them around.
He couldn't get enough of them!

Monday was spent shopping for food for the week and just hanging out at the house.  Everyone pretty much needed a day to relax!
Gotta love the saggin' pants!
Tuesday we all went down to Temple Square by way of TRAX.
Jackson loves going on the TRAIN!
He is becoming such a big boy...

We had a great time touring Temple Square and City Creek.
I LOVE City Creek!
I am so glad they built that downtown.
It definitely adds a lot!
On the way back to South Jordan...we were all PRETTY TIRED!
Wednesday we went to the POOL!
Jackson got to wear his NEW swimming gear...
and if I do say so myself...
HE LOOKS DANG CUTE IN IT!

He absolutely LOVES the water!
Thursday we went up to Bountiful for the Chalk Fest.
It was a rainy day, so a lot of them were covered up, and it was the first day of the fest, so a lot of them were not quite done yet.
But, they were pretty impressive.

That night we went to the Golf Course where Mom is taking Golf lessons.
There were so many little duck families everywhere.
Jackson loved seeing them!
All the guys had a great time at the driving range.
Jackson enjoyed watching them.
He also loved getting OUT of the stroller and hanging around the course!
Look at this boy!
Having a GREAT time with Aunt Cathy!
At the end of the night the big boys went over to the Putting Green.
Jackson wanted to be a PART of everything.
PopPop even golfed with him a FEW times.

Looks like we have a future golfer on our hands!

Marek's Gymnastics Birthday Party

(Update from May 12th)
Marek turned 4 today!
He had a HUGE party at the place they all go to for gymnastics!
JACKSON had SOOO much fun!
We might have to put him in gymnastics when he is older!

Happy Birthday Marek!
Thank you so much for inviting us to your birthday party!
We had a blast!

Firetruck Fun

(Update from May 11th)
We went to a 4th of July firework fundraiser.
There was a dinner and it was great.
Outside there was a firetruck!
Jackson absolutely loved seeing it!
He even got to go on top of the truck!

After the fundraiser we went over to the Schauerhamer's and ate chips and dip and had some soda. The kids played, the women and men talked.  Gosh!  I LOVE MY FRIENDS!
I sure am going to miss these hang out evenings!
(Jackson really enjoyed playing out in the yard with the big boys!)

A Boy and His Fort

 (Update from April 13th)
We had a ton of empty boxes stacked up in the living room.
Jackson went ahead and pushed the bottom layer apart and made himself a little fort.
Why do we need toys when there are boxes to play with?

Jackson loves him some Mexican Food!

WHAT A MESS HE MADE!

TV, Rug, & finger

Jackson has a favorite movie.
Despicable Me
I have the whole thing memorized.
He kinda zones out.
Is this a good thing?
We have started doing improvements on our home.
We have to repaint the floor.
This huge WHITE spot is where our rug used to be.
The carpet mat has stuck to the floor.
Which is why we have to repaint the floors.
AND it is STICKY!
Jackson likes to walk on it though.
One day I was working and Andrew text me and said, "I just hurt Jackson REAL bad."
An hour later, Andrew was up at the school with Jackson to show me the injury.
This is what his finger looked like.
Well, this is what happened...Jackson was on the other side of the room, and Andrew left the room and closed the door behind him.
Then he heard Jackson SCREAMING!
While Andrew was leaving the room, Jackson had walked over to the door and put his finger in the hinge...when Andrew closed the door it closed on Jackson's finger.
Poor guy!

Luckily, he just got a bruised finger...someday soon he will lose his fingernail.
Jackson is one tough kid!

Feeding Baby Cows and 4 -Wheelin' on the Farm

Update from April 29th
We went out to the Stegelmeier's Farm.
They have a few calves and they wanted us to see them.
They even let me feed them!
Believe me, it is not as easy as it looks!
After the calf feeding we went out on the four wheelers to check on the farm.
Jackson pretty much loved every second of it.
So much so, that he FELL ASLEEP while we were riding around.
That crazy kid.  He can fall asleep in the most random spots..
but not in his crib, like he is suppose to.

Thanks Stegelmeiers for letting us join you on an ADVENTURE!
