Children of Eden

This past weekend, we were able to go down to Provo to see the musical, Children of Eden! Margie's brother, Richie, is the STAGE MANAGER! Big time stuff going on here! Better than seeing the show, we were able to SIT in the box and listen to Richie make all the calls. It was so fun! It really brought a whole new light to putting on a show. The actors and actresses and NOT the only people involved here people! Which we knew, but this time we were able to see everyone else put their talents into action. Richie was so good. He gets nervous at some points, but hello, if it was me doing that...I would be NERVOUS ALL OF THE TIME!!!! We enjoyed the acting, the music and Richie doing what he does. The doctrinal correctness of the play is somewhat questionable. Don't worry, Richie would agree with us!

Thanks Rich, for letting us come and join in the FUN!
(He even let us put on some headsets and listen in...AWESOME!)
At one point when Richie said, "Lights, GO!" Which means for the lights to turn off or turn on or whatever they need to do at that moment, the light Richie was using went out as well! Perfect timing. Andrew was there able to save the day! He fixed the plug which is basically a fire hazard! It is a miracle we are here to talk about it today!
Richie workin' it! Did we mention he is also in charge of all the music too! He has to push the button that makes the music turn on! Honestly, that is PRESSURE people!
Margie tried to look as cool as Richie, but it didn't work out too well! We still had fun though!

The Perfect Find

If you know Margie, you will know that she has not one, not two, not three, but FOUR plastic tubs full of weird, different, abnormal pieces of clothing that are great to use for dress-up! You know for like, Halloween, crazy clothes days at school, so forth and so on. Tonight Margie found the ultimate dress-up box wonderfulness. She has been wearing it for 2 hours now and would most likely wear it all of the time if she were allowed. It is the perfect fit for her tubs of dress-up clothes and it just makes her happy. She was shocked that ANYONE would even think to give this TREASURE away. She is thankful that she was the one that was able to snatch it up and bring it home with her....for FREE! She says that she finds great POTENTIAL in clothing, and for some reason I believe her.

TRICK or TREAT

This was our first chance to go Trick or Treating together and to give out candy. It was awesome. Ashton does Trunk or Treating down Main Street. It was fun to see everyone and the fun decorated cars. What cool costumes everyone had.
It was fun to see all the cute little costumes.
Our friend Laura ( Who got baptized yesterday!! YAY!!) Was the cutest Snow White ever. And Look who came to visit her, an old lady with a delicious red apple.
Ashton is so cool that people give out the best stuff ever. The Reynolds made cotton candy for everyone. So awesome!!
Diana took a step back in time and little Ethny was a cute lady bug.
What cute kids.

This video is what Trick or Treaters experienced as they came up to our house. We hung out with the Schaurhamers most of the day. Morgan's eye fell out.
Later this night we went up to Harriman State Park for the Haunts of Harriman. It was pretty fun. The Herriman's were the people who owned the trains that Butch Casidee and the Sundance Kid robbed. So that was their theme. We took a haunted hayride to the town.We had too much fun. You can tell by Andrew's expression. This is the scary dentist. I wouldn't go there if I were you. That scares me!It was another really fun night. This was just the most fantastic weekend ever!

HALLOWEEN AMAZING RACE

Our good friends Morgan & Andrew Schaurhamer threw the most amazing Halloween party ever. It was an Amazing Race Party. We all showed up in our costumes and had some great food.
Margie made amazing deviled eggs for the party. Unfortunately her first method of putting the yoke mix in the eggs didn't work so well.

In the end it worked out and they not only looked totally rad they tasted amazing as well.

Our hosts for the evening The Dead Marilyn Monroe & a Death Eater (AKA: Morgan & Andrew)

We were joined by Cindy Lou Who & the Grinch

What a cute couple Spiderman and Batman make. This is Meieli & James.

And what is a party without Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. Diana & Adam.

These two came all the way from India to join in on the fun.

A crazy hunchback and his misfit toy wife.

The sexy and deathly pirate.

You can't have a good party without a TV and Satellite. And Can't have that without a good salesman.

These two left the sixties for a spell to spend some groovy time at the party. We came to the party as Ron & Hermoine from Harry Potter. We know it was an amazing idea and we looked great!

Morgan worked hard to make their home look incredibly awesome. And the food was great.

Tink hanging out on Pan's shoulder.

AWKWARD!!! You don't see that every day.

The best part of the party was the Amazing Race!! We were divided into groups and sent all over town trying to figure out clues and complete tasks. We were paired up with the Allens and they were the best team mates ever!! It was a blast.

One of the scary tasks brought us to our home where a Death Eater fed us eyeballs, mummified fingers and aged vampire blood. It was creepy and fun. (Andrew Walker did the amazing lighting ans Andrew Schaurhamer did the amazing table setting. Those two are just too cute)
One of the scariest tasks sent us here, an abandoned grain elevator. We entered into the dark and creepy building only to see more darkness and the sound of eerily creepy sounds from the tunnels beyond. With only a cell phone to light our way we huddled together and made our way to the back only to find a dead body. Our next clue was clutched in the corpses cold hand. We grabbed the clue and got the heck out of there.

When we reached the end of our adventure we were all set to win until we realized we left our pumpkin back at the barn and needed it to win. Andrew W. took off back to the barn to get our pumpkin. Meanwhile the next group showed up and we were only fortunate that they hadn't solved the last riddle. As their group scurried to finish the riddle Andrew drove up. I screamed for him to run and hurry. He ran with every ounce of energy he had. He then dove over the finish line causing the pumpkin to take flight. Everything went into slow motion as the pumpkin flew through the air. The other group reading off their last line as the pumpkin crossed the finish line and not 1 second before the other group finished and we WON!!!!! It was glorious.
Andrew is amazing.

It was so awesome how it came down to the last second.

Here are the winners in celebration of the amazing prizes they won. It was indeed an Amazing Race. Thank you Andrew & Morgan. You guys rock!! And thanks to all the other couples & Groups who competed. You made the competition so much more exciting. There was a lot of sabotaging and we loved every second of it!!

By far the best party we've ever been to!!!
