Baby Shower in Ashton - Dr. Seuss

 Well...Morgan and Diana threw me ONE AWESOME Dr. Seuss Baby Shower.  I have always loved Dr. Seuss.  Ever since I was a little girl.  My Dad use to read me his books, and I just love them so much.  Being a teacher has brought even a deeper love of Dr. Seuss into my life.  I have always wanted a Dr. Seuss Playroom and now with little Jackson on his way, the reality of a Dr. Seuss playroom is closer than before! 

Morgan and Diana did a great job with the theme.  Morgan made perfect invites.  Pictured above.  She assigned different people different rooms of the house.  That way I got a variety of things!

 One of the activities they had the guests do, was to write baby advice for me in a Dr. Seuss book.  It was all awesome advice.  I will cherish this book for a very long time!

 

Another activity we did was everyone got a gold star and if you heard someone say the word CUTE then you got to steal their star.  Believe me...CUTE is a very HARD word NOT to say at a Baby Shower.

 Here is how some of the tables were set up!  So fun!  So, Dr. Seuss!

 Morgan made some of her fun tissue things to hang from the ceiling.  There were these signs on the walls in the church to show what room we were in.

 We had a great time!

 Here are some pics of the food table.  Green eggs and ham deviled eggs.  Thing 1 Cupcakes.  And a ton of colorful food!  Just perfectt!

 One of gifts that I got was from Morgan's mom.  She made me a QUIET Book for church.  I know how much time and energy these quiet books I got a little teary eyed when I opened this. I was just SHOCKED that she would make me one. I will cherish it forever!  I know our kids will love to look through this book during church on Sundays!!!

 Then there was the QUILT Morgan made for me!  OH MY HEAVENS I LOVE IT SO MUCH!  It is just perfect.  PERFECT!!!  She did such a great job and I just can't stop looking at it!!  THANK YOU SO MUCH MORGAN!!!!!!!!!  It is the BEST quilt you have EVER made!

We had such a great evening.  I was very thankful for all of the gifts that were so graciously given to our family.  We feel so loved.

Bowling at Fat Cats

For our last Hoo-Rah before we left for Arkansas for the summer, we went to Fat Cats with the Schauerhamers and the Uminski Clan.

We had a killer coupon that got us 2 hours of bowling, pizza, shoe rental, and sodas for about 5 dollars a person.  The kids were FREE!

We had a BLAST!

It was such a FUN night.

While waiting for everyone to come, the Schauerhamer girls had some fun on the rides.

 Once everyone got there...the FUN began!

And believe me...it was FUN!

I was 8 months pregnant here and BOY were my feet SWOLLEN!!!

I hope we get one of those coupons again.

It would be great to go bowling again.

Whose Nose it It?
